As the current registrant of Israel.com "retains final approval on the sale at the May 23 auction"
and he had said he "didn't want anyone to misuse it",
the pressures on the potential wealthy Jewish (or Jewish American) bidders to win this domain have greatly reduced
since the current registrant will not sell it to any enemies of Israel.

However, I still predict the auction of Israel.com will close with a higher winning price than that of America.com --

there are so many Jewish tycoons in the US media and entertainment industries who know better than most people how powerful the media can be,
and just for news-worthy they may try to place higher bids on Israel.com than on America.com, possibly close the deal with a record-breaking price to hype its news, then give this domain name as a gift to the country of Israel to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Israeli independence.
